During the next season of Dancing with the Stars, the talented Denitsa Ikonomova, quadruple defending champion, will no longer be part of the adventure. After treading the floor and landing in the jury seat, she stops the show. But not without a touch of nostalgia.

“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm that unfortunately I will not be part of season 12 of Dancing with the stars.she wrote on Instagram. This show changed my life and I am very grateful to the entire production of TF1 for giving me the chance to show what I was capable of. I have blossomed for eight wonderful seasons as a dancer, coach and choreographer with 8 amazing people.”

She says she is grateful for the messages received since the announcement of her departure from the show: “I take this opportunity to thank you once again for your unconditional support, your kind words and always delicate attentions which touch me enormously (…) But don’t worry, we don’t let go. ‘The butterfly’ must now take its flight to new horizons and we will see each other very soon for many other surprises and adventures.”

Denitsa will now continue her career as a professional dancer and choreographer.

“I will miss you very much, thank you again for everything… I love you”she concludes with emotion.

She is not the only one to leave since, according to the info from the TPMP show, Maxime Dereymez would also leave the show, as well as Christian Millette.

In addition, we already know that Chris Marques and François Alu continue as members of the jury. They will be joined for this edition by Bilal Hassani, last season’s finalist, and Marie-Agnès Gillot, star of the Paris Opera ballet.
