QFour out of ten households now have a variable contract and their number will only increase once the current fixed contracts expire. This type of contract having almost disappeared from the supply of suppliers. So how do I understand my bill when I have a variable contract? In this type of contract, the cost of the kWh of gas or electricity is indexed on a monthly, quarterly or even bimonthly basis depending on the clauses (often difficult to understand) of the various contracts present on the market.
