Ever since Triple H took over as head of WWE’s creative team, rumors started about the possibility of multiple returns to the company and we’ve even seen returns like Dakota Kai or Dexter Lumis on the RAW side.
Today, Fightful provided an update on Bray Wyatt (aka the Fiend) from his dismissal until today. According to their information coming from a wrestler of the company, Vince McMahon was simply “done” with the Bray Wyatt project. He explains that Vince could no longer stand Bray Wyatt whose behavior horrified him. Indeed, it would seem that Bray Wyatt was not shy to point out that an idea was bad or that he did not like it, which did not please a Vince McMahon who did not appreciate contradiction.
The most frustrating element according to their source dates back to the WrestleMania 2021 match between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt. The original plan was to have Bray win so Randy could take time off, but eventually the match was changed several times until 24 hours before they met. Which confirmed the end of Bray Wyatt in WWE and that Vince McMahon had completely abandoned the project.
Now, where is Bray Wyatt? As of now, no one knows the answer to this question, but Fightful has obtained confirmation that Bray Wyatt’s name has been floated internally. His name was mentioned in the creative team for a possible comeback, but nothing more. Several names have been floated internally since the arrival of Triple H and it is for this reason that his return is not yet certain.
We will have to watch the next few weeks to learn more about the future of Bray Wyatt.
