On November 11, a CCTV camera captured a group of thieves breaking into a car pound in Essex, England. The criminals left with five luxury vehicles: an Ariel Atom, two Mercedes-Benzes and two Porsches, all for a value of more than 800,000 euros.

The theft took place just after midnight on November 11 in an industrial estate in Bulphan, near Thurrock, in the UK county of Essex, around 45km east of London. The thieves broke into the pound by opening the gate with a bolt cutter and held it open as they fled.

Essex Police accompany the video footage with a description of the cars. They are a Porsche Cayenne, a Porsche 911 Carrera, an Ariel Atom, a Mercedes A45 AMG 4Matic and a Mercedes Maybach. The latter has been found.

Police have appealed to the public for witnesses and further information.
