Remember, a few months ago, on the set of the film ” Rush “, the actor Alec Baldwin killed a member of the team with a dummy firearm, the director of photography, Halyna Hutchins. The actor had always maintained that he had not pulled the trigger and was therefore innocent.

Eight months after the events, the FBI investigation is coming to an end. According to ABC News, which managed to obtain part of the file, the actor would have lied, since it was he who triggered the fatal shot. The FBI says the gun used was a .45 Colt, a gun that cannot be fired without pulling the trigger. The pistol ” could not be fired without trigger pull while internal components were intact and functional “says the FBI.

Alec Baldwin said in an interview that he was given an empty gun, the actor stipulating that it was Halyna Hutchins, herself, who told him to aim it. For the actor, if it is he who was holding the weapon, he feels neither guilty nor responsible for the death of the director of photography.

Death was caused by a gunshot wound to the torso. (…) No demonstration proves that the firearm was intentionally loaded with real ammunition on the film set concluded the FBI investigation. Halyna Hutchins’ death should be classified as an accident.
