On June 10, the life of little Alizée, aged three, had taken a 180 degree turn. Indeed, this little girl from Robelmont (Meix-devant-Virton) had a stage 4 neuroblastoma and was fighting against a very aggressive cancer.

The mother of little Alizée had returned to her state of health which had started to deteriorate in April. She was initially diagnosed with gastro and after discussing it with the pediatrician, she was hospitalized for the first time. And unfortunately for the family and those close to the little girl, the months of April and May were just a succession of trips to and from the hospital.

It was the first of June that the pediatrician had decided to do a CT scan to see if there was not something more “serious”. She then underwent a lumbar puncture, a biopsy and numerous analyzes which revealed this barbaric name: stage 4 neuroblastoma which contaminated the ganglia of her intestines and a little of her bones.

Tragic news for parents who expected anything but that. “She also had mononucleosis so we really didn’t expect the word cancer to come out. It is an aggressive tumor that grows very quickly. »

Her mother, Jennifer, also gave a lot of news about her daughter through the Facebook page “Alichou, our little warrior”. A few days ago, the news was very bad and the little girl’s health deteriorated rapidly. “Pray for my princess who had severe respiratory failure last night. She is in Saint-Luc where she is intubated and where a machine replaces her heart and lungs. »

Alizée fought until her last breath but unfortunately her mother announced the sad news on social networks this Tuesday at the end of the afternoon. “Alizee, my cat, my love, my princess, I’m so proud of you… You were perfect until the end! You spread your little wings at 5:45 p.m. so you wouldn’t suffer anymore. Your little hand in mine. You weren’t alone… Be happy, we’ll meet again one day. »

The editorial staff of La Meuse Luxembourg presents its most sincere condolences to Alizée’s family and loved ones.
