From star to criminal in a fraction of a second. In 2019, viewers are horrified to learn the terrible truth about a man they thought was uneventful, for whom they had fallen in love. In the TF1 game presented by Jean-Luc Reichmann, “Les 12 Coups de midi”, Christian Quesada, then in financial difficulty, revealed himself and chained victories to win a huge jackpot.

But in 2019, the scandal broke out: Christian Quesada was imprisoned for corruption of minors, possession and dissemination of child pornography images. The man was then sentenced to three years in prison in April 2020. He was granted conditional release in March 2021. This Monday, we learned that the man was again arrested for not having respected his obligations. In particular, he had to be subject to socio-judicial monitoring, which includes a ban on seeing minors and following certain treatments. We do not know more about the precise reasons for his second incarceration.

“I am not a criminal, I am a delinquent”

This Wednesday evening, Touche pas à mon poste broadcast exclusive recordings of the former champion of the TF1 show. In these, Christian Quesada, who himself contacted the production company of one of the columnists (Genton production, which will soon broadcast a documentary on the man), affirms that he is not a criminal. “I am not a criminal, I am a delinquent”, he declares before minimizing the facts of which he is accused. “So you should know that in French justice, a child pornography cliché is a girl who is under 18 who is in panties or a bra. So yes, there was even more than that. But, for the collective unconscious, what is child pornography is really stuff here, we put children attached. We are still very very very very very far apart. »

Statements which have been contradicted by the chroniclers on the set by taking up the extracts of the facts which are reproached to him. “We are very far from the clichés of young girls aged 17-18”, recalls Guillaume Genton.
