State of Play: Sony unveils its new PS4, PS5 and PSVR2 tonight at midnight

It’s not just Nintendo that is announcing its new games on Tuesday, September 13. Sony is also on board with a surprise State of Play, which will start at 11:59 p.m.

In the program, “20 minutes of announcements, new updates and gameplay content for 10 games coming soon to PS5, PS4 and PS VR2”, according to Sid Shuman, director of communications at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

This new presentation has amazing updates from our amazing Japanese partners and a few surprises from other developers around the world.“, continues the director. The focus on “Japanese partners” makes sense, when you know that the Tokyo Game Show will open its doors this Thursday.

We should therefore see studios like Capcom, which is working on an extension for its Resident Evil Village, as well as a remake of Resident Evil 4. Capcom is also working on Exoprimal, a game planned for 2023, in which it’s raining dinosaurs .

Square Enix should also be there, especially with titles like Forspoken and Final Fantasy 16. On the Sony side, we expect new images for the highly anticipated God of War Ragnarok. Finally, we hope for nice surprises for the PSVR 2 headset, also scheduled for early 2023.

See you at 11:59 p.m. to find out all about it. The video below and PlayStation’s various YouTube channels will stream the State of Play live.
