JJust before leaving on vacation, the Council of Ministers launched a new stage in the granting of rail management contracts: it gave the Minister for Mobility the green light to finalize the public service contract for SNCB and the Performance contract for Infrabel. The federal government takes this opportunity to emphasize that the development of the two sisters of Belgian rail is essential to Belgium’s environmental objectives of reducing CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030.
