SkyShowtime will be available in the Netherlands from Tuesday, October 25, the US streaming service says. The streaming service can also be seen in Portugal. Earlier this week SkyShowtime went live in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Pricing for Dutch users has yet to be announced. In Finland, subscribers pay €6.99 per month and subscription fees in the Netherlands should differ little. SkyShowtime is a collaboration between the two major American players ViacomCBS and Comcast. In the United States, the companies operate their own major streaming platforms, Paramount+ and Peacock, respectively. The new service could soon reach 90 million living rooms. Jon Farrar has been recruited for the position of head of programming. He made his mark at BBC Studios and the SVOD service BBC Select. Many offers on US services Paramount+ and Peacock will air on SkyShowtime, including Top Gun: Maverick, Jurassic World Dominion and Minions: The Rise of Gru. TV shows from NBC, MSNBC, E!, Bravo, Syfy, MTV, and Comedy Central will also be added. Nothing has yet been mentioned for Belgium at this stage where none of the services are yet available (this is also the case in France).
