Unsurprisingly, banks will be closed, as will Bpost offices. Some Post points will still remain accessible in convenience stores that open their doors on Tuesday. Same situation for the municipal administrations with, beware, a closure for some until November 2 inclusive. It is therefore best to check on the website of your municipal administration.

Concretely, for the rest, only independent stores, franchises or usually open on Sundays and public holidays are likely to open during this day of closed doors. Here is a non-exhaustive list of stores that are open on Tuesday, November 1.

If Delhaize stores are closed, some AD and Proxy as well as some Shop&Go are accessible today, especially in the morning. The brand offers to discover the list of open stores on its website here.

Same principle at Carrefour, where hypermarkets and supermarkets remain closed. On the other hand, most Carrefour Market or Carrefour Express franchise stores, depending on the desire of the managers. Discover these exceptionally open stores on the brand’s website here for the Carrefour Market or here for the Carrefour Express.

Colruyt supermarkets are not opening today, nor are the Okay signs. On the other hand, some independent Spar stores should be open, according to the wishes of the managers, the schedules being available here.

At Match and Cora, the hypermarkets and supermarkets are closed but the stores usually open on Sundays are probably today. The Aldi, Macro and Lidl stores are closed, unlike the Intermarché. Discover their opening hours here.

Regarding the other major brands, Ikea stores are closed all day. The majority of shopping centers in Wallonia and Brussels also remain closed.

Finally, pharmacies are also closed, as on every public holiday. It is therefore necessary to turn to pharmacies on duty if necessary. The list is available here.
