Review – NZXT Canvas 32Q Curved – Overclocking.com

A few weeks ago we tested the NZXT Canvas 27Q. If you remember correctly, in conclusion, we had expressed the wish to test the big brother, the Canvas 32Q Curved. NZXT read us well and as soon as a monitor was available they kindly sent it to us.

Released at the same time as the Canvas 27Q, the 32Q Curved is obviously a little more imposing. It remains in QHD format, but this time is curved 1500R. This means that you should ideally stand 1.5 meters from the monitor for perfect visual comfort.

From 549 € for the black model with stand, and 569 € for the white model, it is currently on promotion at 429 €, which is at a reasonable price given the current euro/dollar exchange rate. Where NZXT is strong is that it is possible to choose the type of feet for its screen, or with a single or double arm, or even to mix colors.

Canvas 27Q specs:

  • VA slab
  • A QHD resolution (2560×1440),
  • P3 color coverage that reaches 94% (according to our tests).
  • A contrast of 1000:1
  • 178° viewing angles
  • A refresh rate of 1ms
  • A frequency of 165Hz maximum
  • Freesync Premium, G-Sync Compatible
  • An anti-reflective coating
  • VESA 100x100mm
  • 2 USB 3.0 ports
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.2
  • 1x USB-C
  • 2x HDMI 2.0

Design

The NZXT Canvas 32Q Curved has a design sober, we are far from gaming look. No RGB LEDs. The only fancy touch is the purple halo on the control nipple. Note, however, the white stand with a black monitor, which may not be the best choice.

Ergonomics

The fixing system is solid, the foot is stable and adjustable in height, as is the inclination. On the other hand, we will not be able to put the monitor vertically as we can on the Canvas 27Q. Finally, we have a VESA 100 mounting system. Also, you have access to a small USB HUB under the screen.

The OSD is simple, the presets are many. Everything is controllable with the nipple on the back of the screen. Or through NZXT’s CAM app, and the app is just perfect.

The NZXT Arms

We did not receive the single or double arm. But they appear to be exactly the same as those available with the Canvas 27Q. They are therefore very neat, with an all-metal construction.
