Rage Against The Machine performs a title he hadn’t played in concert for 14 years

The group was able to officially launch the tour Public Service Announcement at the Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, Wisconsin. This will pass through Belgium and the Sportpaleis in Antwerp on the 1st next September.

This first concert in eleven years opened with “Bombtrack” from the first album, and closed with another cult extract: “Killing In The Name”. They also offered “Bulls On Parade”, “Guerrilla Radio”, “Sleep Now In The Fire”, “Wake Up”, “Testify” and a cover of the title of Bruce Springsteen“The Ghost Of Tom Joad”.

So here’s some info on what we can expect for the start of the school year. ! For the occasion, RATM will be accompanied by the explosive rap duo Run the Jewels (Killer Mike & El-P) as special guest.

Last week, a performance by the band was marred by an unusual incident. As RATM kicked off their classic “Killing in the Name” in Toronto, Canada, a man in a red T-shirt rushed onto the stage. A security guard tried to stop him, but in the process he accidentally grabbed and knocked the guitarist out Tom Morello and this one fell off the stage. Watch the video here.
