A very specific teracrystallization currently makes the hearts of coaches beat faster. In a short video, the new feature was presented in connection with Despotar. Teracrystallization even gives this Pokémon a new type. This particular type of Tera is not apparent until Crystallization, Tyranitar is definitely Ghost here. Watch the short video about it:

Did you notice anything? Tyranitar’s Crystal Crown is aligned with the Tera-type Ghost. But that was not all. Because this crystal spirit is strikingly reminiscent of another very famous spirit in Pokémon history. In the Red and Blue editions, a ghost Pokémon is known to haunt Lavandia’s Pokémon Tower.

When you use Tera Crystallize on a Pokémon, it sometimes gets its own special Tera type, different from its normal type. This means that you will face both that type’s strengths and weaknesses, and all moves associated with that type will become considerably stronger.
