PlayStation Plus: discover the free games in October

As usual, PlayStation will offer PS Plus subscribers a nice list of video games for the month of October. Subscribers to the basic offer will have at their disposal three free downloadable titles throughout the next month. The list is quite interesting and aims to appeal to all gamers, from action game fans to racing game enthusiasts. Discover the three free games on PlayStation Plus in October through this article.

PS4 and PS5 games

For this month, PlayStation will offer two titles released on the PS4 and a video game from its new home console, the PS5.

Injustice 2

One of the big PS4 releases of 2017, Injsutice 2 is a nugget laid by the famous studio NetherRealm. You would have understood it through its name, this video game is directly taken from the DC universe and contains its share of superheroes. Notice to fans of Marvel’s eternal competitor!

Injustice 2 has its quirks. The fighting game is displayed in rather fun 2D graphics. Its single player campaign is a superb epic that fans of Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman and company will love. Of course, the big iconic villains of the franchise will also be there.

SUPERHOT

Also released on PS4, SUPERHOT represents the indie game on this list. There is no question of a blockbuster developed by a world-renowned studio. The title was developed and published in 2016 by the Superhot Team studio. The graphics are modest as is the simplistic game world.

On the other hand, the gameplay has something to please gamers who like to exercise their brains. Indeed, this video game is a brilliant mixture of FPS and a new concept of space-time which only moves according to the movements of the player. This makes it a very unique action game to discover absolutely if you haven’t played it yet.

Hotwheels Unleashed

Last but not least, Hotwheels Unleashed is the only video on the list to be released on both PS4 and PS5. As its name suggests, the title is directly inspired by the world of Hotwheels miniature cars. Motor racing is at the center of all attention. However, it is not a racing simulator like Gran Turismo.

Hotwheels Unleashed is bathed in a much lighter and wackier atmosphere. The mad races take place on circuits similar to those sold as real toys. You will drive behind the wheel of cars that spin at breathtaking speeds.
