Playstation 5 sold by the French state?

No, you’re not dreaming, Playstation 5 will soon be auctioned!

Two lots, containing a Playstation 5 and accessories, will be auctioned by Drouot on October 4 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palais de la Bourse in Lyon.

These PS5s have been seized by the courts and will thus be put up for sale by the Agency for the Management and Recovery of Seized and Confiscated Assets (AGRASC). The profits from this sale will be used to compensate the victims or to finance actions of general interest.

Here are the lots affected:

  • Lot 31: An 825 GB PlayStation 5 console with a DualSense controller (source)
      • Starting price: €400
  • Lot 32: A PlayStation 5 console with 2 DualSense controllers, 6 games and a 2TB hard drive (source)
    • The affected games are: Spider-Man Miles Morales, Resident Evil Village, Ghost of Tsushima, Watch Dogs Legion, Hitman III, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
      • Starting price: €450

At a time when there are still and always out of stock on Sony consoles, the offer seems attractive and can attract many players.

People wishing to bid must create an account on the site Drouot and will have to pick up their lot at the address indicated.

For information, the PlayStation 5 is now sold at a price of €549.99 for its Standard version, with a controller. It will therefore be necessary to see the final auction price in order to know if the offer is interesting!
