This Wednesday, September 21, the French animator Patrick Sébastien delivered to the magazine Gala on a difficult period that he had to go through recently. The one who is known to be a bon vivant reveals: “An unfair eviction, cancer, separation, these last few months, I’ve taken it all in stride“.
The presenter of the cult show “The biggest cabaret in the world“will release a book: “Live and be reborn every day“in which he will notably discuss his kidney cancer, a disease he had never revealed until today. “In terms of health, it’s a beautiful tsunami that fell on me“. In the strictest privacy, he was operated on and then hospitalized. “Today everything is fine,” he said. He adds all the same that he “gained belly, because his abs were cut for the operation“.
Patrick Sébastien has already been confronted with the disease before. In 2010, he was struck by skin cancer. “A doctor’s look at one of my moles saved my life. He told me to go and have it analyzed. It was skin cancer which, luckily, had not yet metastasis. I’m not saying this to make me feel sorry, but to encourage people to be controlled“.
Patrick Sébastien is known for being frank and on all aspects. In the interview, he also talked about the suicide he has “considered many times“. Nevertheless, he wants to convey a positive message. “[Il a] had want to tell people that you shouldn’t feel sorry for yourself and that all these events are not the end of something, but the beginning of something else, like [lui a] teaches [sa] mother.“
