PARIS, Sept. 9 (Benin News / EP) –
The release of the update KB5016691 at the end of August caused this error, as the Redmond company itself explained in a statement posted on its website.
The issue in question prevented users from logging into Windows 11 for the first time with a newly added account. Microsoft clarified that the error did not affect users of the following services Active Directory neither Azure Active Directory.
Microsoft pointed out that those affected must wait for the unlock screen to reappear after the first attempt before they can sign in. It therefore does not require any direct action on the part of the user.
The technology company has made this issue a priority, as indicated by the date and time of its recording and resolution, which are accurate. On the other hand, Microsoft reminded that its solution can take up to 24 hours to reach all the people concerned, who can choose to restart their computers to speed up the process.
