VSIt was Laeticia who had the idea for this exhibition which, from December 20 at Palais 2 du Heysel, will bring Johnny Hallyday back to life.
“We never talked about it while he was alive. This idea came to me after he left. For more than twenty years, I bought back some of the stage costumes that had been sold or given away. I liked doing that without thinking that one day there would be an exhibition. It was just to make a small museum in our house in Marnes-La-Coquette. On the top floor, there were two empty rooms near the children’s bedrooms. He was proud and happy of this journey in his artistic life, he showed it to his friends. Because he was not conservative, he kept nothing, he gave so much he was generous. But he also had the soul of a collector. His entire collection of knives will be shown here. »
