Between Julien Doré and the Ronquières festival, there is a love story that cannot be denied. We were able to realize it again on Saturday evening, when the French singer walked the stage for the fourth time in ten editions. Far from being tired, the public waited for the moment with a firm footing, as evidenced by the number of spectators placing themselves in the front rows well before the start of the concert, ignoring an Eddy by Pretto yet with a good voice.
It is therefore in front of a very compact crowd that Julien Doré makes his appearance, at 10:30 p.m. sharp, in a very prominent outfit that capsizes hearts. The singer is one of the few (the only?) people to stay sexy while wearing a pink suit and a black tank top. Julien Doré has class, and he knows it very well, playing hard, but without overdoing it, with the assistance and a camera that follows him step by step.
Smiling from ear to ear, Julien Doré seems just as happy as the public to be at Ronquières, a festival where he performed day and night, to port and starboard. This year, he is the star of the event, and he does not usurp his rank. The beginning of the concert sees the hits parading as if on parade (Kiss Me Forever, Coco Caline…) and, if the set looks a lot like what he was able to offer at Forest National at the start of his tour, no one has a feeling of “déjà-vu”.
The artist varies the staging and effects, wins everyone’s sympathy by highlighting his entire technical team at the end of his third piece, intelligently invites his friend Eddy de Pretto, to sing the duet Larme Fatale… The “Julieeeen” erupted by chilled fans are heard and the somewhat long piano-voice passage at the end of the concert is not enough to tire an audience who capsized from the first notes, eating in the hand of an artist on the ground conquered, but which never rests on its laurels. For the tenth anniversary of the festival, Julien Doré gave everything and Ronquières gave it back. When is the reunion?
