Ten years after the death of television host Jean-Luc Delarue, the French media TF1 devoted a documentary to him entitled “Jean-Luc Delarue: 10 years already, of excess success” in which his former colleagues reminisce about their memories with the man many considered at the time to be the ideal son-in-law.
As the TV man navigates success, he begins to do drugs and regularly use cocaine. Flavie Flament who presented the program “Stars at home” also evokes a disturbing moment that she lived with him while Jean-Luc Delarue, produced the program. And to remember: “One day, I was five minutes late for a meeting of Stars at home, which happened to me very regularly (…) I arrived, there was everyone and there, he took it to me and it was horrible. Just talking about it makes my stomach hurt. This person who had always been tremendously benevolent, with whom I had fun, I spent moments of joy, complicity, complicity on the shoots… He rolled me. I have been crucified! I took full the mouth (…) It was so not him! I swallowed my thing, I took the big corridor of Reservoir (Reservoir prod, editor’s note) and then I went to cry in my car. But what did it hurt me!”, told the star, injured by his colleague.
Jean-Luc Delarue died on August 23, 2012 at the age of 48 following stomach and peritoneal cancer.
