Jabra unveiled the latest addition to its range of wireless or “true wireless” headsets, the Elite 5with hybrid active noise cancellation and up to 7 hours of battery life.
The company specializing in sound solutions presented this novelty as part of the exhibition of the IFA 2022 which is held in Berlin (Germany), a fair where companies such as Sony, Asus, Philips and Samsung have also launched their products.
The Elite 5 wireless headphones feature Active Noise Cancellation technology (CNAhybrid, powered by Qualcomm QCC3050. This technology uses feedback microphones inside and outside the ear.
As a result, noise cancellation performance promises to be less sensitive to how the headphones are placed in the ear, to ensure it’s doing its job. in a wider range of contexts and frequencies..
The Elite 5 also lets you answer calls with technology that includes six external microphones that are active at all times, as well as internal microphones, so your voice is heard clearly even in windy conditions.
Jabra’s new arrivals are also coming with 6 millimeter (mm) speakers and Qualcomm aptX adaptive audio for more consistent, quality streaming with up to 96Khz audio resolution.
The company has also partnered with Spotify to provide functionality Tap Playwhich lets you open your app with just a press of the power button and pick up playing where you left off last time.
In terms of design, the Elite 5 wireless earphones feature a compact and discreet form factor, and are able to withstand rain and sun by being IP55 certified.
When it comes to battery life, they offer up to 7 hours of music playback even with the noise canceling system on. This figure increases to 28 hours with the charging case.
In terms of connectivity, they support simultaneous connection to two devices through Bluetooth Multipoint. Additionally, they offer easy pairing via Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, as well as support for Alexa Built and Google Assistant.
Finally, the brand announced that the Jabra Elite 5 headset is now available at select retail outlets. at the price of 149 euros.
