In LuxembourgThey harassed and insulted passers-by in the street
LUXEMBOURG – The police arrested several people for disturbing public order on Friday evening and on the night of Friday to Saturday, in Luxembourg City and in Esch.
In the early evening of Friday, several individuals were reported to the police as they approached passers-by at Central Station. Officials went looking for them and found them harassing pedestrians. At least two of the three showed clear signs of alcohol consumption.
As they represented a danger to others and to themselves, they were taken to the station for a medical check.
A little later, in front of a bar on the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville in Esch-sur-Alzette, the officials came across a man who insulted passers-by. They checked him but it was not to the liking of the individual who began to violently insult the agents. As he didn’t want to calm down, he was taken to the police station, while shouting bird names at the police.
