As Netflix slowly started to climb the slope in October, after several months with a drop in the number of subscribers, the streaming platform decided not to renew a series, which could well cause some terminations…

Indeed, Brian Young, showrunner of “Destiny, the Winx saga”, announced on Instagram that the streaming platform is not renewing the series for a third season. “It’s especially difficult because I know how many of you loved Season 2. Doing this show has been an incredible four years in my life. I hope we will meet again in the future, ”he wrote in particular.

“Destiny, the Winx Saga” was an adaptation of the hit cartoon “Winx Club”, in which six fairies fight against evil forces. The series broadcast on Netflix had plunged cartoon fans into nostalgia, and they loved it!

Suffice to say that this announcement goes badly with the many fans, who did not hide their anger on social networks. “How does the Winx series have no season 3? I’m going to hit a scandal, that’s not possible”, “I’m alone crying because season 3 is canceled when we’re going to have 15 seasons of Elite and Riverdale that no one has watched since season 2”, or even “We are going to fight Netflix you are boring to stop the good series”, can we read on Twitter.
