Kate Moss has revealed in an interview on BBC Radio 4’s Island Discs why she chose to testify in Johnny Depp’s trial against Amber Heard. She had denied an old rumor that the actor would have one day pushed her down the stairs.

The trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has not yet finished talking about him. The exes have indeed both decided to appeal the court’s decision… The saga therefore continues.

During the trial, several witnesses were heard, including Kate Moss. The British supermodel was in a relationship with Johnny Depp from 1994 to 1998. She took the stand in March by video conference to give a testimony of a few minutes, during which she denied Amber Heard’s assertion that Johnny Depp pushed her down the stairs in the 90s.

Kate Moss said she fell down a flight of stairs when she and Johnny Depp were vacationing in Jamaica, and he helped her up. “We were leaving the room, Johnny left before me, and there had been a thunderstorm. When I left the room, I slipped down the stairs and hurt my back. I screamed, because I didn’t know not what happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room, and got me treated”she testified, adding that Johnny Depp “never pushed, kicked or threw me down the stairs”.

During a recent appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, the model told the presenter: “I know the truth about Johnny. I know he never pushed me down the stairs. I had to tell that truth.” Kate Moss said she felt “forced to tell the truth” during the trial.

Here are these declarations which should not make the business of Amber Heard…
