The funeral of Charlotte Valandrey took place this Tuesday, July 19 in Pléneuf-Val-André (Côtes d’Armor), in a small committee, in all sobriety and without cameras.
During the ceremony, her daughter Tara who was very close to her mother paid her a vibrant tribute. “She’s the strongest person I know, with the greatest rage to live.” she declared under the benevolent and moved gaze of her loved ones. “His freedom has finally been returned to him, his fight is finally over.” Before leaving, Charlotte Valandrey had written her an incredible love letter in which she asked her daughter not to “don’t forget to love her”. “In 2000, I was a mother, you gave me back my life. May these words forever fill our silences”, wrote the actress known in the Cordier Judge and cops and Tomorrow belongs to us. “Soon you will be great my daughter, my reward. I believe in you, my dream, with immense hope.”

His other daughter also spoke during the funeral, nostalgic for the years spent in the Breton region. “We will remember the happy days of our childhood in Val-André, with our grandparents”she recalled. “We now realize that those were one of the most carefree and happy times.”
Charlotte Valandrey died on July 13 at the age of 53 following a heart transplant. She revealed her his HIV status in 2005 and has experienced heavy treatments and several transplants before.
