Everything indicates that Samsung is about to launch its Galaxy A04s

While rumors surrounding the release of a Galaxy A04s have been circulating for a while on the Net, the entry-level smartphone briefly appeared on the brand’s official website.

The entry level represents a huge volume of sales for Samsung, which must quickly renew its references. It is therefore no great surprise that the Galaxy A04s has recently been recalled to our fond memories. Indeed, a support page dedicated to this new mobile has appeared online, on the British site of the South Korean.

The smartphone bears the name SM-A047F/DSN, which suggests that it will be dual-SIM compatible, but no spec sheet is available. However, this model appeared on the Geekbench site, which made it possible to find out more.

A modest technical sheet

This Galaxy A04s should therefore be equipped with an Exynos 850 SoC coupled with 3 GB of RAM – other configurations should nevertheless be offered. This chip was already fitted to the Galaxy A21s, released in 2020. Suffice to say that the performance should be particularly modest. The set will obviously run on Android 12 and the device should benefit from a 3.5 mm mini-jack port.

Sammobile evokes the presence of a 6.5-inch LCD screen displaying in HD + and offering a refresh rate of 60 Hz. We note the presence of an Infinity-V notch which seems quite outdated today.

Autonomy could be ensured by a 5000 mAh battery. The site specifies that the Galaxy A04s would have already entered the mass production phase in Indian factories in Noida.

A simple update?

Several renderings of the mobile have already circulated on the Net. Unsurprisingly, there are no major changes in the design compared to the previous version. The new model, on the other hand, displays a triple photo sensor, compared to two previously.

All you have to do is wait a bit to find out the price and the date of marketing. The Galaxy A03s was marketed at €159 when it was released. We can therefore expect a more or less similar price for the A04s.
