Its installation at Chaussée-Notre-Dame-Louvignies operates under the compensation system with a meter that turns in reverse when it produces more than it consumes. “Before installation, I paid €1,000 per year for consumption of 5,000 MWh per year, so I opted for 6,000 MWh photovoltaic panels. The first year, I paid nothing in prosumer, the second, I had to pay 50%, since half was reimbursed, i.e. 20 € monthly, and next year in 2023, I should pay in prosumer the total amount equivalent to my installation, i.e. 40 € monthly. But my supplier, the company Mega, now wants to impose an additional flat rate of €50 per month on me for alleged management costs…”

Enough to make Luc jump, who will have to pay €90 monthly in fees next year after renewing his contract in March 2023.
