It was on the Place du Casino that the long-awaited concert of the Monegasque Red Cross took place on Monday. The charity gala is held annually in mid-July, beginning with an elaborate dinner, followed by a concert. This year, American singer Alicia Keys provided the show. The profits from this charity gala are donated to the Monegasque Red Cross, an organization founded in 1948 by Prince Louis II of Monaco, and recognized the same year by the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The event is supported by the princely family which ensures media visibility at the gala. This year, the arrival of Prince Albert II was particularly awaited because his wife was again taking part in the event, detained last year in South Africa, for medical reasons. In 2022, Princess Charlene made her big comeback in a total silver look with a frosted Prada dress and Van Cleef & Arpels butterfly jewelry.
