There was the health crisis, now there is the energy crisis. Everyone fears an increase in their bill and takes steps to prevent it from skyrocketing over the months. Bart, from Oudsbergen, was a customer at Eneco. Not everything went as planned for him when he moved to TotalEnergies after moving.
“Eneco continued to send me advance invoices, even after the move. You had to pay and I didn’t accept. Then the reminder bills came. I called again. Then I finally received a final bill for 156 euros. I paid this bill hoping to get rid of these hassles,” he explains to HBVL.
If Bart thought he was safe, he was not, since he received a collection letter asking him for the sum of €273: “They tell Eneco that my contract is still in progress and that I have to pay the bills. Help ! »
Finally, and after the involvement of “For You Solved”, the Belgian’s concern was resolved. “We have terminated the contract for your old address. Based on the meter readings from the trade-in document, we will make a correction. We will keep you informed,” Eneco told him. It only remains for Bart to be patient while he receives his refund.
