An expected price hike for Samsung’s foldable smartphones – Geeko

Leaks had already revealed the majority of their technical characteristics, now they reveal their European prices. Report ? The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will likely cost more than expected.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, the firm’s next-generation foldable smartphone, will be unveiled alongside Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds on August 10.

As a reminder, in its infancy, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 was around 1,000 euros. A price that corresponds to Samsung’s announced desire to reduce the price of its Z series. More precisely, when it was released, it cost 1,049 euros for 128 GB of storage, 1,799 euros for 256 GB and 1,899 euros for 512 GB. Figures compare with the following information.

According to the GizPaw site, a European retailer leaked the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. And the downward trend seems to be coming to an end. According to this source, the flagship model of the range would be displayed at a price of 1,849 euros for the version offering 256 GB of storage. It would take 1,999 euros for the model containing 512 GB of storage. The 128 GB model has completely disappeared, which would therefore increase the base price by €800 all the same.
