American actress Anne Heche died on Friday at the age of 53. She had been in a coma since Monday after a car accident in Los Angeles. She had suffered severe brain damage. Doctors eventually gave up the life support that was keeping her alive.
Anne Heche drove into the front of a Los Angeles home last week. The accident caused a fire and the actress was taken to hospital in critical condition. City police recently reported that traces of narcotics were found in his blood.
