In the middle of a sketch in the morning of France 2, comedian Alexandra Pizzagali was cut and replaced by a pub beach. The cause: jokes about the attacks that have no more to the direction of the show.

September 5 marked the start of the France 2 morning show, “Télématin”, presented by Julia Vignali and Maya Lauqué. The occasion marked the arrival of Alexandra Pizzagalli, a humorist, for a sketch which did not turn out very well. The morning had already started badly since the artist’s teleprompter had not started, but it was the result that prompted the intervention of the show’s teams.

Alexandra Pizzagalli is characterized by a “black” and “vulgar” humor, which has already earned her criticism on social networks. For its premiere on France 2, it therefore had to prove itself. But when his sketch drifted to the Nice bombing, and specifically to one of the terrorists in the attack, it took mere seconds for it to be replaced by a page advertisement.

This Friday, September 9, four days after the incident, the comedian was dismissed by France 2, indicate our colleagues from Var Matin. She will therefore not return in the second week on the show, as was originally planned.

“We did a test, it didn’t work. We stop, ”said a senior public service executive.
