After a very successful Vivo X80 Pro, the Chinese brand continues with a Lite model.
Vivo continues on its way. After a Vivo X80 Pro that we appreciated, the Chinese brand is about to unveil a Vivo X80 Lite sold around 450 euros.
The German site WinFuture, accustomed to serious and reliable leaks, reveals the existence of the device. We find the brand’s identity on the back with its rather pop flat tints, either quite flashy orange accompanied by a golden photo block, or black with a pattern reminiscent of tartan. There is also a somewhat strange element on a mid-range smartphone: the presence of a notch for the selfie camera, generally reserved for smartphones under 400 euros (or buyers of the iPhone 14).
An element can perhaps explain the presence of this notch. More and more manufacturers are trying it, the Vivo X80 Lite should follow the trend and offer autofocus on the selfie camera (f/2.0 aperture). We know that Vivo is very interested in technologies that allow video to be pushed to the front, as evidenced by the dual LEDs of the Vivo V21 and V23. The latter also proudly displayed an iPhone-style notch.
For the photo part on the back, count on a 64 megapixel with OIS and F1.79 aperture, an ultra wide angle with 8 megapixel sensor (F / 2.2) and a macro lens coupled with a 2 megapixel sensor. Nothing but very classic.
The screen meets mid-range expectations with a 6.44-inch Amoled panel in Full HD + and 90 Hz. Under the panel, there is a Dimensity 900 accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 265 GB of storage, as well as a 4500 mAh battery rechargeable at 44 W. Android 12 is provided, as well as full 5G, dual SIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB-C connectivity. A microSD card slot is up for grabs.
