Elvis Presley’s jewelry soon to be auctioned: an exclusive sale will take place in the United States. A collection of jewels which belonged to the King and which had disappeared in nature for several decades… His ex-wife asserted their authenticity.

Turquoise bracelets, solid gold watches, or rings adorned with diamonds… many of these pieces had been offered by Elvis to his mentor, Colonel Parker. The latter wore very little jewelry, the two men then shared the collection. “It brings back a lot of memories. We all know that Elvis loved jewelry. But these rings and these coins bring joy”explains Priscilla Presley, ex-wife of Elvis Presley.

Joy, but above all a fantastic financial windfall. After the disappearance of the King, then of Colonel Parker, these jewels had disappeared. They were found, without further details, after decades spent in the wild… 5 to be precise.

200 rare coins

At 77, the ex-wife of the singer was able to validate their authenticity in person. “There are so many items floating around that aren’t real. It worries me, I don’t want fans buying things that supposedly belonged to Elvis. I got involved because I want to make sure they will go to someone who knows how to take care of them“, assures Priscilla Presley.

In total, 200 rare pieces forgotten for 50 years. Jewelry, but not only…”We estimate the guitar of the special come back at 1 million”launches Brigitte Krus, managing director of “GWS Auction House”.

45 years after his death, Elvis continues to sell. In 2019, the sale of memorabilia and merchandise generated $12 million at Graceland alone, his former home turned museum.
